Have a long history of on-and-off shaving here. I kept everything totally natural until about 2001, when I was a senior in college. Before that, none of the ladies ever complained about my body hair, pubic or otherwise. (I guess I'm naturally "moderately" hairy.) All those women had beautiful hairy pussies, too, except for one GF who shaved hers bald as a special treat after we had been apart for a few months. (I actually prefer them hairy, but it was the thought that counted.)
Then my senior year of college, some guy friends convinced me to shave my chest. I'm muscular, and they said it would look better. Well, shortly after that, I got a GF, and she HATED it. I'd shave every day, but inevitably the stubble would chafe the hell out of her boobs when we fucked. So the chest shaving stopped. For some stupid reason, I tried again a few years back, and my wife also refused to have anything to do with me until it grew back.
That same GF from senior year did ask me to trim my pubes, though. Just a bit with the scissors. I did that for a few years, then back in '07 I got one of those Norelco body groomers. It was supposed to just make trimming easier, but I got carried away and started using a #1 clip on my lower abdomen and shaving the balls and shaft completely.
I kept doing this until a few weeks ago, when I finally started realizing how ridiculous the men in porn looked, with no hair on their bodies whatsoever. I started seeking out porn where the men had at least some pubic hair. Then I thought I must look pretty ridiculous with barely any pubic hair but plenty on my legs and stomach (my wife loves the little tuft of hair I have around my belly button, and got really upset when I shaved it off once).
So now I've decided to keep shaving the balls and shaft clean (with a Mach 3 or the Bodygroomer), but to let the rest of my pubes grow out more. I'll probably use either a #2 or #3 to trim them.
Honestly, do women even care about a guy's pubic hair? My wife seriously does not give a shit, as long as I'm not crazy hairy. My only concern is if I hook up with another woman (I'm allowed to, the wife gave me permission) that she'll want me to be completely shaven, but what do you guys think? What are most women's views?
