I'm cut, and if I really want a quick release, dry will do fine. I actually prefer the feeling of skin on skin. For prolonged sessions though, I will use lube, especially towards the finish. Lube lets me slow stroke my cock from top to bottom, and play with the head, without over stimulating. Same applies to nipples: for long sessions, I use lube.
