Has anyone used a smartphone camera to make a home sex video? Any tips or tricks for getting something that's reasonably good quality?

The lighting is probably the most important part. Ideally do it in the daytime with the windows open letting in as much sunlight as possible. Otherwise put lots of lights in the room to make it as bright as possible.

There are POV type rigs that are straps with phone holders you can purchase. Either head mounted or chest mounted via adjustable straps. Could be quite successful for hands free film making.

Selfie sticks work well for more flexibility in the moment, or you can get a small stationary cell phone camera stand. Investing in a blue tooth remote to start or stop recording would be helpful, if you plan on being a part of the action.

Also, you will want to capture in the highest resolution and frame rate you can, so the action is smooth. Check your video camera settings to be sure.

You should also consider getting a memory card for your phone. Video files take up a LOT of storage, and most cell phones don't come with much in that department.
