As we move further and further away from the scourge the virus once was it does tend to fade into the background. However, it is still out there. Granted its taken a backseat to COVID and especially since COVID is more easily contracted. Nevertheless, today(well yesterday now) was just about knowing the struggle still continues and vigilance will hopefully make it so we DONT have to mention it anymore. But at least we live in an age where medications and therapies have held it at bay and rendered it nigh impossible to transmit. Hope is always expanding.
