Its a shame the old jackinchat chat isnt around anymore. Used it alot back in the day, some good offshoot rooms too that did well also. It just isnt the same here nowadays

I cant even use the chat as it currently is, as my net use atm is restricted to just my ipad, and the chat doesn't allow access from those.

The Discord server is ok, good for celeb pic share/chat which is what i like. There's still a lot of catfishers & "cum & go'ers" but it was the same with the old room.

I an on iOS so I cant access the chat, which is really annoying.

Where do other apple users go instead?

Roughly 90% repetitive copy/paste chat requests in the general chat channel. The pic share channel all just links that had to be individually clicked to view.

As opposed to our current setup on Discord where the general chat channel has *gasp* actual conversation! But, if the repetitive copy/paste requests are someone's jam, don't worry...the dedicated requests channel is still like that. Then there's the pic share channels that actually preview the pics, with some niche content channels to funnel some specific content to. (A lot of the people who prefer the links like that the old chat made it easier for them to get sketchy stuff through, playing the odds that we wouldn't check their specific link.) The Discord chat also has the benefit of allowing you to see posts made while you weren't connected. And, perhaps a selfish plus, it's much easier to run from a moderation standpoint.

At least 50% of my use of the Discord server is through my iPhone. You just need to opt-in to NSFW servers from the desktop or web versions. (See linked FAQ in the post above.) This was the compromise Discord made with Apple, allowing them to keep the app in the Apple Store when they began allowing NSFW content.

I LOVED the chat on the old jackinchat. I would post alot of Playboy Playmates like Karen McDougal. People would then private message me on the chat and I would post more pics. My penis would become hard as a rock. Great memories. I even got to know some of the fellow chatters.

The same thing can happen in the current chat, so....

i miss the old chat as well. i also really miss yahoo chat back in like 2003-2008. these days it's really tough to find another straight j/o bud into the same stuff to develop a long-term relationship with. websites close or get shut down because of idiots, and the popular chat apps change every few months, so it's impossible to have any consistency. i'll meet one cool guy, chat a few times, then that person just disappears.

back in college, around 2004/05, i met a few great buds on yahoo and we all stayed in contact for over five years! there were five of us total. i'd usually meet up with one other guy, sometimes two or three of us a couple times a week to chat and stroke together online. we were all completely straight and the conversations were focused on our sexual interests. mostly it was just typed convo's, but sometimes we'd voice, and always share tons of pics and links and vids. the chats were fantastic, often quite filthy and always non-judgmental. we were like actual friends. it was a way for all of us to openly explore our sexuality and kinks in a safe space. like one guy was really into rough porn and he'd bring a lot of that stuff to the chats and keep us up to date on all the new porn stars and porn companies and websites. another guy was into legal teens and he'd bring tons of those pics to the chats and introduce us to tons of new girls. so we had a few different "flavors" in our chats that kept them interesting and fun, and kept all of us coming back week after week...for years!

if there was any way to get something like this going again it would be incredible. i hope the younger guys have this all figured out and i'm just an old dude who's out of the loop.

Too many "catfishers" on JC discord but it's the same as it ever was in the old place... The "Celeb roundup" in my experience, has 2 posters with very "multiple personalities". they are best ignored, complete timewasters. Everyone else there, it's a fair market lol
Good news is that the pdohs seem to have disappeared & as for the closet gays, they're there, they always are but as a straight man, be polite but firm and then ignore.
