I love to jerk off. I have a blast edging for hours and have sort of found my sexual entertaintment fulfilling to a certain degree.

However, I have some younger friends that are gay and they get to enjoy sex with real people, not just images and porn videos. When I hear they have met somebody new or they tell me how sexually active they are, it's like a poison to me. I just feel so defective and depressed until I eventually reallize I am a good friend and a valuable person again.

My friends find my envy annoying, so I need to get a clue and learn to be content with solo sex.

Well I'm 42 and married to a wife who rarely wants sex (I think we had sex 4 times in 2009).

But everything else about our marriage is excellent, and I stay faithful to her (no messing around with other girls or guys).

So I'm left to my own devices. We also have two kids. One is a night owl, and stays up too damned late (especially on holidays), and so if I want any privacy to jerk off, I pretty much have to do it in a locked bathroom.

Can't play much with toys either, as I can't risk being seen taking them to/from the bathroom.

So not only do I envy people who are getting regular sex with other people, but I'm also frustrated that I can't even jerk off the way I'd like to. Long edging sessions with videos, toys and lube just aren't going to happen!

So everything is relative I guess.

I'm content with not getting sex or relationships with other people. I realize there are lots of guys out there that solo sex is the closest intimacy they will get.

I think the best thing about this problem is that I am realizing my friendships with my gay friends is suffering. I can be a real bitch when I am not "the fairest of them all".
