Does anyone think this site gives a false sense of reality? This site makes it seem like every guy is willing to be a jerk buddy, or cool with nudity. I've found this very hard to believe and have never encountered it. Although I would love for my new roommate and I to be able to be cool with each other and leave the door open while pissing or showering, beat off when and where ever we want, it just doesn't seem like it could happen.

It does seem that way. I read about all the stories but never really encountered them. There was only one exception and that was with a longtime married buddy of mine.

You never know who would really be more open if given the opportunity. I friends that i cant be that open with and a 24 yo friend that shares my house. He is pretty shy actually and even being in the same house he is never in his underwear. This is a site targeted to a specific community. We have a lot in common, that is what brought us here, but outside of this we can't expect to find everyone to be the same. If we were on a web site devoted to doctors we wouldn't expect everyone in the world to be a doctor. Isn't that kind of the point of this site? While we all share some similar interests here in this community, it's not easy to find like minded individuals in our everyday lives. So we come here to find guys like us. For some (myself included) it works out that you find a local bud who is into what you're into and you can make meeting up and establishing a semi-regular thing with a reality. But for most, we use our experience on this site as an outlet for our fantasies. Which, I'm pretty sure is it's intended purpose!

I bet there are many people like us, but it's that side we don't like and don't want to reveal to everyone. Interesting point you brought up. If I have these thoughts and fantasies. I wondered if other guys in my day to day life might have the same interests. But if the comfort of this platform allows our innermost thoughts to be expressed, others all but possibly have to think like that. They dont have this outlet like we do here.
