Hello Ladies,
I am interested in your thoughts on male body hair. What do you find attractive, acceptable, and repulsive? I am a fairly hairy male. I have a rather hairy male body. I have hair on my legs, thighs, groin, abdomen, chest, some facial hair usually grown out, and of course hair on the top of my head. I also have some hair on my back which I have a strong feeling that I will read that is not appealing to women. I just remember the days when the male stars of the day years ago such as Tom Selleck, Burt Reynolds, Pierce Bronson, etc.,etc. HAD chest hair and other body hair in movies, on television, etc. It seems to me that for the longest time that when men are shown in movies, television shows, or male models are shown in catalogs, etc., with their shirts off, hardly any of them have any body hair. They all seem to have been shaved, waxed, etc. clean. Hence, my curiosity got to me and I thought I would seek out the opinions of the ladies here to see what your thoughts, feeling, and opinions are about this. Do you prefer men with little to no body hair, limited body hair, or whatever his DNA programmed him to have is fine with you? I must admit that I am a tad frustrated with modern media. Some of us men are not hairless. Looking at modern media, one would think most men are. It is a skewered image of the average, normal male. For example, I have a hairy chest. One of the most erotic things I can think of is for a woman to run her fingers through my chest hair. Perhaps that is because in my mind I somehow connect my chest hair with my masculinity. There is the old cliche that a male should not complain about something and endure it because, " it will put hair on your chest." The implication of that old cliche is that a "real man" has some chest hair, not one that looks like it has been shaven and waxed. Thank you in advance ladies for you thoughts, opinions, and insights. I look forward to reading what you have to write.

It's true......the media creates "ideal" body images for men as much as for women. Therefore, men have to deal with body image issues just as women do...it's just that men are less likely to talk about it. Women have to deal with comparing themselves to stick-figure thin models and actresses as an "ideal" (btw, I prefer curvy women), and men have to deal with models and actors with hairless, chiseled physiques. We all need to recognize that women are not "Barbie" and men are not "Ken". Real women are curvy....come to think of it, healthy, athletic women are curvy. A stacked rack and "junk in the trunk" is erotic.....Paris Hilton is NOT. Likewise, a man with a flat (but not necessarily chiseled) torso with some actual body hair is erotic. Let's appreciate real women and real men....not false images.

Well said, married. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy looking at the model types, but also ALL types, and i always have it in mind that the professional porn images are really idealized.

I don't mimd or care whether the guy is hairy or not, I've got other things on my mind. I'd prefer he wasn't a Robin Williams-type, but hair on a man is natural. I do like him to be neat and tidy down there, aesthetically trimmed cock and balls improves the look and the desire to suck or stroke. Of course, once he's in me, who knows, who cares, there's a job to be done.

For both asthetic and sexual reasons I, for the most part, dislike any body hair on either men or women. I'm not putting down anyone who has it or keeps it, I just don't care much for it. I love the look of men's and women's bodies, including genitals, without being covered by hair. I prefer my sex partners, especially other women to be as smooth as possible. I find giving oral to a smooth cock or pussy more pleasurable and tribbing with another smooth woman is much more intense. Now having said that, I have a female lover with whom I've been intimate since 14 years old who shaves only her legs, nothing else, no underarms, pubes, anal hair, etc. I, on the other hand, have everything except my eyebrows waxed off on a regular basis. Go figure......
I may not have much of a future, but I have a hell of a past.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to thank everyone that has responded to my thread, regardless of your opinion. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to do so. It is intriguing to read what everyone's opinions and thoughts are. I would love to get even more feedback from others as well. Also, I know this is in the "For Her" category, and I prefaced the title to this thread with, "Ladies:..." but I would also welcome feedback from the gentlemen as well in regards to what their experiences have been with their female sexual partners, girlfriends, etc. Did they request you shave or wax areas? Are you hairier and they tell you it was a massive turn on for them? I am thinking about starting a thread about this in the "For Him" category, but until then, gentlemen, feel free to add your experiences with women in regards to your body hair. Again, I hope to get even more feedback from the all too few ladies of jackinchat. I look forward to reading more posts from others. grin

being somewhat older, women with hair was the norm as a young man, once in awhile one would run into a smoothly shaved pussy and i have to say it was the very best. since i love oral for the ladies, i prefer smooth everything. i myself keep very trimmed and have been told it is better. but like most say, its in the eye of the beholder. men look better trimmed or shaved, i prefer them smooth
