I disagree, Ben. Swinging seems to attract both those with an "open" marriage and those who are simply intrigued with variety. A true open marriage must be based on complete honesty to survive. Some have it, some don't. Those who are dishonest with their spouses, whether in swinging or not, may well cheat, but swinging has essentially promoted, accelerated and ok'd the idea. As we get older, we seem more likely to pass on the idea of cheating, possibly because we think ourselves not appealing enough to attract a different partner. For whatever reason, if we get past the idea of cheating, we will ceratinly be far more likely to remain married.
