It's true that js06877 was a cranky old fart. But he was also a lot of fun, and participated and livened up the discussion. You just had to know not to take him too seriously.

No doubt his suspension was justified, but I was sorry to see "for being an asshole" posted as a reason for the permanent suspension. It leaves the impression that the moderator was not taking something as serious as a permanent suspension of an active and participating member very seriously. Surely some reference to a specific violation of the Terms of Service would have been more appropriate.

As one of the youngsters here allow me to commend your jacking record. We should all aspire to such jacking longevity.
