Maybe its an addiction, maybe not. Maybe its just a matter of priorities. Clients are clients. Sex is sex. If you are making a living and doing ok...then jack when you feel like it.

I think a person is addicted if whatever it is (substance or activity) interferes with family, friends or job. If you're jerking yourself a lot, but still have good relationships with people and you're not losing your job, it's just a hobby or pastime.

I am actually too busy with work, family etc. to jerk off as much as I would like. It's actually good since I can remember having lots of free time and jerking off so much that my dick would get really sore. Everything in moderation.

It is all a matter of priorities - and the length of the day, month or year is the same for all of us, regardless of age, income, nationality, religion, et cetera. But as I see it, jerking off is very "democratic" as it costs and takes nothing more than your time. So time is the key factor - I think, what is most important is to balance life, so everything is covered. Sleeping, eating, take care of your security, stuff like that are necessities - hobbies, jerking off, travelling are nice passtimes. To be able to fullfill those, you need to have some sort of income. Family - don't forget that. What sort of life do you want ? Can you work less, but smarter to free time ? Save time on commuting ? Noone can buy more time, but we decide ourselves how to spend based on our ambitions, wishes, demands for life ...

I wake up an hour and a half early and set that time aside for masturbating every day. It's the #1 thing I make time for. That allows me to get on to other important things in my life.

My take on this is that it is not really possible to masturbate too much.
For most of us probably 25% of the week is spent working and 25% on family and personal stuff. That leaves 80 or so hours each week.
Consider how much time is spent watching sport, viewing television shows, visiting the toilet, grooming, eating and drinking . . .
Most of the above cost money and may not be particularly healthy.
An hour or two a day of masturbating, more on weekends and holidays, doesn't seem excessive.
Masturbation is free, beneficial and healthy.
Condider how many like to keep bodily physically fit. Masturbation is fitness and performance training for the penis and personal organs.
It may be beneficial to reduce reduce the amount of eating, drinking, watching tv, etc. and there have been those who claim (there used to be a website "Desperation" devoted partly to this) that toilet visits time could be much reduced.
Some would say more time could and perhaps should be found for masturbation.

I have been jackingoff for almost 65 years now and I am not addicted yet. LOL
