There's a post on the Men's Forum about whether or not guys use that hole that is usually provided in men's undershorts. It brought to mind a question about ladies underwear.
Boobs are my second favorite part of the female anatomy (and the first that I really got to see and handle.) There seems to be two ways that ladies put on bras. (This question applies to back hook bra styles only.) Some put their arms through the straps and reach around behind their back to fasten the hooks. Others fasten in front (cups in back...180 degrees reversed) and then spin the cups around to the front and pull up the shoulder straps.
My gf uses the hook and spin approach, but tells me that lingerie specialists usually recommend the back hook method. So....maybe like a poll, if you'd care to comment....which do you use? HOOK AND SPIN...OR...REACH AROUND BACK?

well i rarely wear a bra... don't find i need one, being relatively small boobed. but occationally when i do, if i'm going to an event that's more 'formal' i will and i'll use the reach around the back technique to hook. a pullover sports bra is worn otherwise when i may be playing softball or volleyball.
Hook and spin for me....It's kinda hard to hook in the back. Funny you ask, I can't remember the last time I even tried to hook in back. lol
unhooking your bra secret would be such a pleasure to me...
Reach around for me. It goes faster at least for me. I wear a bra all the time (too large to go without) so I'm accustomed to wearing one and putting one on since I was about 12.

"Reach around back" for me too. Once I got used to wearing bras, I never had trouble reaching behind my back and snapping the hooks. But I don't usually put my arms into the shoulder straps first. I just fasten the band under my breasts and then pull up the shoulder straps and the cups. I think it's true that lingerie fitters recommend that you put your arms through the straps first and then snap the hooks. I had a fitting once and she went into detail about how I should put my arms through the straps, lean forward, and let my breasts fall naturally into the cups as I snap the band in the back.
Hook and spin...I've never quite figured the other way out and hooking and spinning is just faster..at least for me.
