I've been banned from the chat for over a month for repeating too often. What's up with that? Pretty unfair, I find.

Just as an FYI, if one of us kicks someone from the room for something like that, we normally put a timer on the ban, which expires in usually under an hour. However, the mod performing the ban has to remain in the room for that timer to continue and expire. We're only human, and sometimes may have to leave before a ban expires (or may think it expired already), which interrupts the timer. If something like that happens, please let us know.

A ban from the chat is separate from a ban from the site.

I dont see any bans on your name. How do you access the chat here? does it say that you're banned when you try and join?
