I was never in the military, but talking to some friends who have, made me wonder how they handled their urges to masturbate since they lived in such close quarters from boot camp right on through deployment. I have read some stories on here that some men in the service had wrote. They are pretty open now in the branch's of all service with the masturbation and the sexual preferences. I went through Army boot in '84 and barely had any urge to jerk off while there, we were tired constantly. I once talked to an old Marine who said that back in the day, the Marines encouraged fucking under the concept that a "Marine who won't fuck won't fight." I went through training in '08...we had the saltpeter rumor, but practically no one believed it. You're just beat down from the PT, drills, training, and inspections that go on. In my experience (2005-2010) there was not enough time, privacy or energy to jack in basic training.
