Names and labels hurt people. Call him a cheap bastard and all you are doing is offending him, the individual. Call him "that" word (I won't do it) and you are referring to an entire race of people and the history that goes along with it.

It isn't "cool" and even worse when the people in the ethnic class do it to themselves because instead of them "owning" the word it just gives license to all the idiots out there to use it for themselves. I don't know many folks on this site, and have only met one in person, but I like to think of us as a community. 1) Iwould bet all the people raising hell about this being offensive are white. For some reason it isn't enough for non-white people to be offended, we have to take that away and be more offended than them.

I'm not going to judge anyone, but I find the obsession with interracial pornography to be a real turn off simply because it plays off ideas of black men as animals or at least sub-human.

I just can't get into it for that reason and also because, having grown up in a majority black area, I don't see what the big deal is.
