Sorry to hear that, man. Seems a few people on here are on a crusade (however noble the intention may be). Banning someone when the proof seems to go their way or at least without confronting them first is a cowardly, dickhead move. The problem with sharing porn that you find on the Internet is that it is eaither from a reputable studio in which case, while the studio will hold the necessary records to show that those who appear in it are old enough and consenting, you are infinging the studio's copyright, or its provenance is unknown, in which case who can prove the people in it are old enough and were willing participants?

In the former case studios can't possibly spend their days searching the net for infringements and almost certainly turn a blind eye to very small excerpt from their portfolio, especially if they are watermarked so as to direct people back to the stdio's site for more of the same, but in cases where large amounts have been nicked they may well ask for the material to removed. People who run web sites and forums may also be alive to copyright violations and act before the copyright owner complains.

Coffeenporn comes from xxxchatters (where you can literally be banned for not responding to an unwanted, unnecessary and un-asked-for pm from a mod) and used to do a ridiculous amount of tone-policing and backseat moderating there, warranted or not; when he wasn't sucking up to their mods, that is. From the moment he showed up on JC he started doing the exact same thing, especially when Rod was around, so it's no wonder they made him a mod, unfortunately.



Not that a lot weren't warrented, but that's often common practice at xxxchatters; kick/ban first, make up a reason later. Curious enough to ask why someone was kicked/banned for clealy not doing what was said they did? You get kicked/banned too.

Also, since he is from xxxchatters, I'm sure he'll get them to implement the policy of reading our pm's and limiting what we can say at some point, as well.

Time to look for a new chat room, I guess. It's been a fun 8 years.
