I had no problem starting a new thread in jackin material using Google Chrome. Perhaps it's a problem with Safari or Firefox?

I had no problem creating a new post and I am using the latest Firefox browser. I am only guessing that it has to do something with your computer itself the way it's trying to read the code.

All I can suggest is, clear your browser history and your cache and try it again.
