This is more or less a simple rant, I hear more and more about how "society" has to be more realistic about how a woman should look, that they are not all skinny super models, now this is true, and the super skinny model look is not the norm. However, I do not believe that should translate into a large percentage of the population (male and female alike) turning into glutunous porkers, now having a few extra pounds is one thing, I have a few extra I could do without. but certain things I see just makes me sick, such as obesity being considered a "handicap"
Today I went to a movie and in the parking lot there was a very large woman sitting in her car scarfing down McDonalds, tn in the theater she goes to the concession stand and gets a large soda, a large popcorn and candy, after the movie let out she stopped and got a refill on her large soda and popcorn. if that isn't sad enough you can bet your paycheck she probably is one of those people that goes to walmart and jumps in a scooter. because every time I go to walmart ever scooter I see trolling around the store has an obese person driving it. it reminds me of that Disney move Wall-E where society has gotten so fat and lazy they cannot walk under there own power and machines have to do every thing for them.
Now I do not want anyone thinking I am a fat hater, or think only skinny matters, I have dated some very sexy and beautiful women with curves.there is a difference, I am just sick of those that use there over weight status as an illness and/or handicap and hating on those that take care of themselves. and PS. if you are fat you need to STOP wearing skinny people clothes...it is not sexy

I think what he's saying is that too many people are tying to imply fat is normal. Fat is never normal in most circumstances but is most often the result of poor dietary habits coupled with certain addictions.
I know most expert dieticians will tell you the morbidly obese are suffering from starvation. That is to say they are systemically gorging themselves on the wrong foods and the body calls out for more because it's nutritional needs aren't being met so they are always starving and hungry.
This is why you see men and women like this going to Burger King and McDonalds very day. They are quite frankly addicted to this stuff and they drive out stuffing their face and shoveling in those fries.

People gain weight for all kinds of reasons, and even psychological and behavioral reasons are the result of something in their lives. Most people understand that and don't bitch and blame the person for the way they are.

I think what the op is trying to say that it's a shame that extreme weight gain and obesity (in some cases) is now treated as a norm, when really it is not a healthy way to live. I'm all for personal choice and autonomy of health, diet etc, but I do agree (if that's what the op means), that the condoning of being overweight by modern culture (eg Meghan Trainor's song for example) is definitely not a good thing.

I tend to, and I think most men when they're honest do, too, look with more favor on a woman who is on the heavy side than one on the not-heavy side. It's biological. It's in our God-given nature that we find the swell of a woman's hips contrasted to her waist arousing.

Many of us are whip-sawed back and forth by what we see in Mass Media that tells us what we are supposed to like and find attractive. And many of us follow what Mass Media tells us out of a desire to conform with others.

Smoking, drinking, fatty foods, lack of exercise, dangerous sports, risky sex... all of these things are things that one person or another is "offended" by.

It's one thing to have an opinion about something and believe that someone should perhaps seek a better life for themselves, but this a forum about sex, and the poster seems to be making the statement for his own personal sexual demands.

It's one thing to believe that people would have better lives if they improved their lifestyle, it's a completely different thing to raise this on on a forum about masturbation and frame it as a complaint that women are becoming too fat to qualify to be his personal fapping material.

And I don't think the belief is even based in reality either. We have seen a massive increase in personal fitness over the last 20 years, and the market is still growing. Gyms are still growing, sports equipment is still selling like never before, tech is now constantly being developed for people working out at home and monitoring/sharing their progress.

While he seems to believe that society is going in the other direction, accepting obesity as a way of life, everything else seems to suggest that the vast majority are seeking healthy lifestyles.
