Seems like our penises figure prominantly in our posts, our screen names, and our avatars (as might be expected at a masturbation site.) Among the numerous possibilities, just curious about what you usually call it. Is it specific to the venue? Maybe one name here or with the guys in the locker room...another with your wife or gf...maybe even a pet name (proper noun) with wife or gf...etc.

I vote for DICK. I usually use DICK in my posts here, although COCK pops up occasionally. Not sure why COCK seems better sometimes. It's always DICK with my gf (and no pet names that I will own up to unless somebody else does so first.) In high school, PRICK seemed popular with a lot of the guys. Those are maybe the big three, but I've heard that there are as many as 150 variants in English usage with "matrimonial pacifier" being one that caught my eye.

BTW, this begs a similar question about the various names for masturbation itself. Probably even more names for that.

I usually call it DICK if it comes up around the guys. I have called it SPIKE for a long time, more or less as a joke.

Hmm, I never really thought about it. Obviously I'll use different terms depending on the company. With close company such as friends and lovers, COCK is the word of choice.

I have called it the names metioned above. Sometimes I'll just call it what it is, a penis. I ahve called it a Dong in my day, or schlong too.

I find almost all of the words for body parts and sex acts to be unsexy or ugly. Maybe there are some good ones in other languages. But words are better than finger pointing and sign language, so these are the ones I use.

With lovers: Cock is definitely preferred. 'Dick' reminds me of Dick Cheney or Dick Clarke or other Dicks I don't want associated with my organ.

With friends: anything that sounds funny, like weiner, dink, shlong, wang, etc. I especially like the term 'Jimmy' and 'Jimmy-hat' for condom.

I definitely call it a cock. Dick seems juvenile to me.
