That was where I got the "2-3 months" reference, which I see that I misread. My apologies for the confusion, and thanks for clearing it up. It makes it clearer that "specifics" will never happen at ANY point in the future. Because specifics were never a strong point with you, and things will never "settle down" to your satisfaction anyway.

Care to show me where I said that I expected a "flock of new female members?" I'll save you the trouble. I did say that we received complaints from both male and female members about the quantity and severity of degrading content. (And, although not stated specifically in that post, most of that content was aimed at female targets, yes.)

I think you'll find it hard to disagree that there used to be a larger female user base. Never a 1:1 ratio with the male user base, but certainly larger than we currently see. The above-mentioned degrading content has been provided as feedback as one of the reasons for that base shrinking.

So, no, I don't expect a "flock of new female members" simply because we've attempted to stem the tide of overly degrading content. In fact, whatever reasons have caused that base to shrink may be, in the words of The Operative, damage done.

So, I suppose we should just let that escalation of content continue, then. Right?

Of course, there are some members who are currently decrying the attempts to put out that proverbial fire that I feel confident would be decrying our doing nothing about it if we just let it go. And some of those would do so simply because they've determined that they will disagree with all decisions regarding the management of the site.

And, there it is again...referencing a claim that was never made.

Been on the road for a couple of days, and missed some of the fun here. I see the issue has been settled in favor of the sexist macho male female protectors. I'm sure that your fawing adoration of the mods by pounding the thanks button on their postings will be much appreciated. However, I just checked out the Active Topics and see that you people have a lot of naming and shaming and reporting to the authorities to do before Jackinchat is purified to your standards. There's at least one link to a wife picture posted right now. The guy doesn't call her a nasty name. In fact, he seems to like her. But that should be irrelevant to you. It's a sickening degradation of the female gender and must be stamped out immediately. There's lots of naked celebs on there too. Even some shemales. You have so much purification work to do and so little time.

This should be reported to the members. There are obviously people still posting pictures of naked women without their knowledge or explicit approval who haven't read this thread and don't seem to know that's not allowed anymore.

What I find funny is that you never see any of our female and/or gay members starting threads where they call George Clooney, Justin Timberlake and gay male porn stars degrading names.

Or women showing pics of their husbands and boyfriends (ex's included)

Even if there was a section of the forum set aside for degrading chat, it wouldn't be a guarantee that those users wouldn't post in the threads for those who admire women.
