I don't now how many members on "Jackinchat" are also frequent visitors to "Sex Forums" but sadly I must inform you that " Sex Forums " will be shutting down as of April 30.

Over the years I've visited that site about as often as this one and found many of the same discussions going on, lots of exciting pics and as you might imagine some very interesting reading material.

I think it goes without saying this seems to be a pattern ongoing as one after the other these great sites fall by the wayside. I understand that " Sex Forums " was done in by a few main factors such as the cost of updating software combined with weak revenues produced by the site as well as new regulations. All this presented it's owners/operators with the perfect storm of conditions necessitating it's closure.

This leads me to say with all candor that I do wonder about the future of " Jackinchat " as well. Like you guys I enjoy it and hope it has a bright future.

As such sites become fewer and fewer one wonders whether we're regressing to the old days when none of these type sites existed. Needless to say there're many within our society who would love just that very thing.

The religious Bible-thumpers are in full control of the Republican Party now, and would surely love to use their current political power to extinguish all forms of open sexual expression. This website is almost ancient by internet standards, but it seems to remain active. The owner and founder of the site hardly ever shows up anymore, and must be approaching his senior citizen years. The first generation of moderators......Ben and Anna......haven't been involved with the operation in years and years.

Jackinchat hasn't been updated in either features or appearance in more than a decade at least. That seems to suggest that it's a low budget operation that can subsist on limited resources. So even though Jackinchat has reached an age when it should be withering on the internet vine, it's still jacking along. There'll always be new masturbators coming of age of course who want porn and sex talk.

From a broader social and cultural perspective, the right wing Bible-thumping Republicans....the American Taliban......are in full control of the Washington political scene. That should be as much of a threat to sex forums as existed back during the Reagan years....when the religious fanatics got Playboy and other soft core magazines pulled from convenience store magazine racks for example. On the other hand, the idiot president that the Bible-thumpers chose in 2016 is himself a tape-recorded self-confessed sexual predator who openly committed serial adultery in his New York tabloid years.
