I'm not that trim, but me and a friend wear speedo in my boat. Good for sunning, and feeling free. Last year, one of the first trips out, all of a sudden I notice here comes the DNR boat. Two guys in it, and had to show all of the required safety equipment, while we were in our speedos. Oh well, who cares. I'm sure others have seen us on the back deck or walking around on the boat. In my opinion, it is impossible to actually swim with big boxer board shorts on. Too much drag.

When I used to swim and when I lived closer to the beach, I wore speedos more often. And I liked to wear my speedos around the house. Now I only wear them when I wash the car or do yard work, stuff like that. And now I prefer to wear my briefs around the house. I get my speedos one size larger now. I like them looser than when I was a kid.

my opinion is that it is not part of our culture. Men have always been able to wear baggy shorts for swimming and its a normal for here in the USA. I wouldn't be against wearing a seedo if I could fill it out more but also why wear something to swim in when you can skinny dip.

Agreed. Back in the 60's and early 70's, men's athletic shorts and bathing suits were ACTUALLY shorts. No trying to run or swim wearing a parachute! It made sense, and looked better too.

It all boils down to: Practically all men love to see women in tight swim suits. Few women want to see most men in tight suits, and most men won't admit that they want to see or be seen by another man. American homophobia.
