If you are found in one of these rooms he will automatically ban.

is there an approved room list? i have to assume not all rooms that allow inappropriate content make it obvious that's what they allow in the title of their room name.

I had assumed that if the rooms were on here it was safe to visit

that makes sense, sometimes people drop rooms in the chat or dm too, would be nice to be able to cross verify against a safe list or something.

The chat host, dalnet, is not ours. Dalnet is host to not just our two rooms, but literally thousands of other rooms. Maintaining any sort of list of the rooms hosted on their service is simply unrealistic. Some particular rooms, obviously, do come to our attention, and in the interests of keeping our rooms from being deleted by dalnet admins for anything illegal, we choose to maintain solid separation from them.

I'd be interested in seeing that message, because - due to frequent abuse of their services to post underage material in our rooms - they aren't allowed. If you mentioned one, the automation that we have set up caught that and booted you. Pretty simple.

I actually did see that same message posted a couple of days ago on the chat room. I thought it was odd, but I did see it there. I don't use any of those things so I didn't care, but I did see the message.

I understand you are banned for breaking rules in chats that are ruled by Jackinchat. But the fact Jackinchat uses bots to spy what you do outside of this website or of their own chats, I have serious doubts about the legality of that. For me this is a serious attack to our own privacy.
Maybe, if there is a lawyer or a jurist around, he could give his opinion about this fact.

The reason for the scanning of people as they enter the room or randomly while they are in the room is to make it harder for them to discuss under 18 topics with our users in our room.

It is no different then we kick and ban people for sharing websites that also are known to allow underage porn to be posted. We are simply looking out for our own rooms so they do not risk being shut down.

While we can't stop it in a private chats as we have no clue what is said there we can prevent them in the two main rooms that we maintain. As for the legal issues, I am sure trying to keep underage topics out of an adult room would probably be far more favored then allowing it.

I wanted to make a try, so I have posted "rabbit" in the chat. Now I am permanently banned. What a fucking stupid rule. Being permanently just for posting a so common word as rabbit. As if a 15 minutes ban was not enough for this kind of trifle.
And by the way, the website rabb.it no more exists since a while. So this rule is 200% stupid.
