Hi All, was fairly new to the jackinchat site and had been enjoying it but can't access it now. Particularly liked the pornjackin room. Is there anything similar at all?
The operators of the chat room and pornjackin have moved to the new Discord server. You will find a few chats rooms and new porn related rooms. Here is the link. You will need to have an E-mail address and create a password.

Up at the top of this forum thread for topics says Jackinchat Discord-Let's Go. Click on that will show you the invite link to get into the new Discord server.

I'm getting asked to have a verification email sent to me at the new site. How would they know what my email is? I entered my username and password. I'm told it's incorrect.
I've never rec'd a confirmation email. I will step up to the plate and complain: whoever wrote this software didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. If jackinchat wishes to change the order of the way things work, it would be a good idea to make that change as transparent as possible for the customer. In this regard the word is FAILURE.

I'm not sure what you feel we haven't been transparent about, so you'll need to be more specific.
Discord is a separate service platform that we've moved our chat rooms to. It's never been portrayed as anything else. Being a separate service platform, if you don't already have a Discord account that you're using, you're absolutely right - it doesn't know what your email address is, and you'll have to create an account.
If you do have a Discord account and can't log in, then you'll need to contact Discord's support for assistance - we do not control access to the larger Discord platform.

Discord has allowed us to add features that users have been asking us to implement for years but just weren't possible with IRC.
Between the new features and actual chat occurring in the main chat room, and not just repeated copy/paste chat requests, the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
Thanks for getting back so quicly Rod. It might be easier to understand my position when you compare the orig. process of joining jackinchat, and then joining the site that followed. I have made THREE unsuccessful attempts to join.
I have run into situations where after completing the requested info. I was brought back to the page that asked me to enter the information in the first place. I don't intend to do anything more than let you know compared to joinining jackinchat, it's an arduous and non necessarily operator error sitution.
