Why is it a good idea? This is a masturbation site. The last I checked, men and women of all persuasions masturbate. Why should the chat be segregated based on orientation? Because what gets some people going doesnt get everyone going? If thats the reasoning, instead of having one general chat room and one link trading room, we would have a few hundred narrowly focused niche rooms with 2-3 people each in them.

The asl thing mainly bugs me when its the first thing someone says. No basic greeting, no hi...hows it going? Nothing but asl.

Always makes me wonder, if they see someone who seems interesting out in the real world, do they walk up and ask how old they are, their gender, and city of residence by way of introduction?

Hey guys. My own 2 thoughts on asl thing. Yes 99.9 % are guys on here. But when I ask about asl it just gives me personally a feeling on how things will go from there most who respond that are 20 something I rarely have ne thing on common ground with them alot of crap that comes from there mouth r hoes bitches. Really hate the 20 min apart conversationists. They ask you a question. you answer right away, they respond back to you half an hour later with another question, and so on and so on...

Many of the OP's annoyances resonated with me as well, but especially this one. I would add to this when people ask multiple questions in a row without giving you a chance to answer them.

I hate this question as well, because it is so broad. I used to either tell people my general (non-masturbation related) interests, or tell them that I have no idea what they were actually asking me. I think people want to find a common masturbatory interest, but don't know how to ask.

As far as ASL? goes, I'm with Rod. I don't mind being asked as long as it's not the first or second message I get from someone. I do like knowing that information though, because chatting with a 20 year old is different than a 60 year old, and chatting with someone else in the USA as opposed to someone in the UK may make a difference as to what celebrities and porn stars they may know. Instead of asking asl I'll usually just provide that info about myself early in a chat hoping they will respond in kind.

The other big pet peeve I have is "Pls?" First of all, it's "please?" just type out the other three letters. Second, I usually get this message from someone about 3 second after they have send me a question and I have not provided an answer yet.
