Right wing Utah Republicans are crazy enough though that this does seem plausible.

A thread about the disappearance of Dick.Net brought to mind BraTeaseBoard.Com. It was a bra fetish website that disappeared a few years ago. It was never very active, but it had a loyal following who regularly posted high quality pictures of women in bras. Great for guys who liked bras.....REALLY liked bras......as in a bra fetish.......and curvy women who fill them. BraTeaseBoard had some really nice ultra soft core "porn" ( with no bare breasts or nudity allowed.)

As is so often the case, it just disappeared without a word of warning or explanation. The people who own websites often make a big deal of promoting "membership" (because it's the members who provide the free content), but when the owner decides to close up shop, the members are as disposable as the domain name.

I'm sorry to see that Dman has been suspended. I hope it was for genuine impropriety in his dealings with other members, and not for his outspoken comments on the boards. Yes, he was a pain in the ass and would shoot off private messages, but he had a right to his right wing politics for example, and at his worst appeared no more inappropriate and impolite in his postings than the public utterances of the presumptive presidential nominee of the Republican party.

It seems to me not long ago that Dman was in a rage about improper treatment of women and demanding the expulsion of Jackinchat members he was sure were perverts and pedophiles. I hated his grandstanding, but I thought he was solidly on the side of the angels there in a way that would never piss off a moderator. You never know I guess.

Of course Dman can always modify his public and private persona a bit, gin up a new screen name with another Email address, open a new Jackinchat account, and he'll be good to go again.

@ mexicojo: Thanks for the comment. It's amusing to be at a place in which BOTH of the gender-specific restrooms have a capacity of ONE person with a lock on the door and single toilet and wash stand. Both identical and both with a lock.

I was alone in a restroom washing my hands at the sink when a woman strolled in. Seeing the mistake she had made caused her to literally YELP in horror, and then turn around and hit the door so hard that I was afraid she might have hurt herself. Of course the appropriate response would have been to simply say "excuse me" and leave. But instead, she lost her mind. Amazing!

Just another non-issue that riles up the political and religious fanatics on the right wing of the Republican Party.

What on earth would the right wing Republicans do if they didn't have things like LGBT issues to stoke the culture wars against the evil Godless liberal Democrats in general, and the America-hating constitution-shredding Kenyan-born usurper in particular? In this case the right wing God crowd has done a wonderful job of casting the LGBT issue in terms of a story about the dangers to children of sexual predators. When you think about it, that doesn't actually make any sense unless you want to paint a picture of transgendered people as being predominantly inclined to sexual predation, in a way that non-transgendered people are not.

That is of course exactly the idea that the right wing radicals want to disseminate with the phony issue. They seek to cast this and every political difference they have with their opponents as a battle of their moral and ethical superiority against the forces of evil and criminality.

It's SO much easier to whip up anger and hatred about non-issues that infuriate the base than have rational objective debates about actual political issues.

What? No more ugly Hillary pictures to post?

Yes, we get it. Fanatical right wing Republicans no longer consider it to be enough to have superior political views to their opponents, but they must also be ethically and morally superior. The right wingers just love to charge that their opponents are literally criminals.

Judicial Watch is a right wing organization which has been on a crusade against the Clintons for years. In a political system that depends on successful candidates raising big money to be competitive, influence peddling is the prefect mud to throw at an opponent. It can be easily charged in an election campaign, and since it involves a person's MOTIVATIONS and not their ACTIONS, it is essentially impossible for that person to prove actual innocence. It almost never comes to trial of course, since what goes on in a person's mind is very nearly impossible to prove in court. But no problem, the political damage is already done.

It is going to be supremely satisfying to see all the fanatical right wing Hillary hating Republicans weeping bitter tears when Hillary Clinton is sworn in as the 45th President of the United States.
