The problem is that video playback in these rooms is transient, so you need a way to announce when you are playing something, and the mods have never liked that sort of thing. If you're content is "youtube ready", you can use youtube (which of course is also google), but I doubt you have anything like that  All these sites seem similar in relying on streaming sites (YT, vimeo, etc.) or google desktop streaming tech. My plan was to keep things to 480p and stream from my desktop (either files or desktop streaming from a video player). Actually 720p seemed fine in my minimal testing. So mycircle seems to be it for 24/7 playback from a playlist where people (including the room owner) can come in and out casually. I hope someone else can figure out how to monetize it and offer a similar service. |

I had groups of users from all over the world meeting in my room who I might rarely encounter myself. |
