The real reason is obvious---there was no practical way to keep pedophiles from using the service and no way to attract advertisement revenue unless the pedos were purged.

Thanks for that. I assume you're using the Streamable "pro" service, since the free one allows for only 250M or 2 videos or something very limited like that.

It's $13/month, which is not too bad, but I haven't decided if I even want to spend that much on my, er, hobby.

Also, their TOS say:

"You may not post, store or otherwise make available on or through the Service any of the following: [...]"

"User Content that is obscene, pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit [...]"

"User Content that may infringe, misappropriate or violate any intellectual property rights [...]"

So I'd have to hope they are not strict about this or would not enforce the TOS unless they got complaints.
