I can not log in through java chat or my IRC-- is the server down? or have I been banned?

I can't either - neither through IRC or Java. Must be down.

I keep getting a message that states, "Can"t to continue due to security parameters" whihc is strange because nothing has changed from when I was able to access the chatroom in the past. Sure hope this isn't a serious problem considering the site was finally back on track.

I cant get on either. I get a little x in the top left of the screen. I even downloaded java, again. Nothing works.

The server seemed to be experiencing domain name resolution problems yesterday. Is the chat still not loading for you all?

i get that same "security parameters" statement....which is an improvement. i've been a member for a couple of months now and haven't even gotten close to chjat. Last week for the first time i finally got something other than a blank grey srceen. But it was fickering so badly that it was impossible to read anything. Tonite it is a stable screen with the security statement. however when i click the button below it, it returns to flickering. Sadly, I've more or less given up on ever getting to chat with most of you.....just my luck i guess.

Yeah, I'm getting the same "security" thing. Hope this gets fixed soon. Didn't realize how addickted to this shit I was till now...lol!

Better than the red X yesterday, now says something about secrutiy perameters....I have been able to be in chat daily for the last month, never had a problem, haven't changed any computer settings and java is up to date. Help!! Thanks!

I get the same message:"Can't continue due to security parameters." I wasn't able to get anything yesterday.

Based on the fact that this problem is only affecting some people, it must be a domain name not resolving properly. I'm converted everything over to IP addresses for the time being and this should fix the problem for most.

Keep me updated.
