I've spoken previously on another thread (strangely now closed?!) on the strange phenomena of mothers sharing pictures of their legal-age daughters in quite slutty gets ups - dressed for nights out etc. - proudly telling everyone how beautiful they look. It's something I've never understood, but I wonder if they're just trying to live vicariously through them?
Take one of my friends whose daughter has just turned 18 yesterday. Not only did she select a number of photos of her daughter wearing tight short dresses to publicly wish her happy birthday, but she posted a ton of pics this morning from a pampering break at a hotel her mother took her on overnight, and the daughter is lounging about pretty much all the time in a bikini and such like.
It's not that I'm complaining (far from it. I never wank over 18 year olds but am taking full advantage this afternoon, esp. given that her mother has put herself in some of the shots too), I just find it all a bit odd, as though perfectly rational mothers are pimping out their daughters.
