I'm new, just met a cpl ppl for txt chat thru' message form. Why is there no (add friend) list here? EASIER then constantly trying to remember the nick or writing all the names down. Just my 2 cents.

That's really a great suggestion actually. This place would HUGELY benefit from a "Friends" feature or even a "Wall" on our profiles to leave hot public/private notes on.

Good question and an excellent idea. Not like we ever ask for the moon or anything do we Ben?

Ben doesn't write the code, but this isn't the first time a friends request list has been forwarded. I know Administrator's been toying around with adding a feature like that, but it won't roll out until when/if it's ready.

It's good to now that it is in the works. Hard to keep in contact with people without one.

I've got a simple version of friend lists working on the dev version of the site, but I haven't quite figured out how to make them particularly useful. It's just a basic list of people - glorified profile bookmarks, if you will.

A list of profiles is better than nothing! I go through all the profiles of people who have messages in my Jackinmail all the time.

This is a custom made format and changes are very infrequent. Which is to say "don't hold your breath." LOL.

I just keep a shortcut to each of my "friends" profile pages in a separate directory (folder) on my hard drive. I don't know a better way to do it. Not the same as a friends list of course.
