The first three Star Wars movies (episodes IV, V, VI) are my favorites and slightly outdo any Star Trek movie. Star Trek, the original TV series, a lot of fun; of the Star Trek movies, The Search For Spock, and the one about the whales.

As I've said before, quality television is almost always better than Hollywood's overwrought over-the-top blockbuster, special-effects-laden schlock. But of the Star Wars movies, the first one in the series was the best. Everything else was downhill after that. And it was Alec Guinness and his gorgeous voice as Obi-Wan Kenobi that made it.

As much as I liked Star Trek TNG, the movies were just too much....as movies made from TV always are. But I did like the the one of the original Star Trek movies with the whales. Because with a plot that silly, they played it for laughs.

Star Wars, no question.
