Anyone know how to delete individual entries from the autofill search bar on Chrome?
I've gone into the history folder from the spanner menu and deleted the individual entries, but the home pages of the site still appears in the search bar if I type the first few letters. It has a clock icon next to it when it comes up. Also tried clearing the day's cache, etc. in the 'Under The Hood' section in 'Options'.
Looking on Chrome's user forums, people are suggesting highlighting the URL when it comes up and pressing shift+delete. This doesn't seem to work for everybody and it doesn't work for me. Anyone got any ideas?

always surf in incognito and the autofill won't work. no trace of sites or where you've been.

Usually do, but just forgot this one time, so trying to dispose of the evidence, lol.

As final resort..uninstall, download and re-install. shouldn't take long. then surf incognito.
Sorry, I have no idea how to defeat the Chrome Autofill. Uninstall and reinstall might work.
But what do you mean by "surf incognito?" Other than clearing the cache, how do you make yourself and your computer "icognito?"
