I am transgender, so I identify as female, however, not living full time as female. I do have facebook accounts for both my male and female identities, but those I am friends with under my female account know (Most are friends I know in real life)
While on my male account, not everyone knows about my female side, although I don't really hide it either. A lot of my friends on that one know I am trans. Most of my close friends have for a while even before Facebook.
Other sites I am on, I never misrepresent who I am. I will usually choose trans, if available when signing up and asked which sex I am. Sometimes I may check female, but if I sign on to anything under female, I make it known in my profile or when communicating with anyone that I am trans.
I never pretend to be anything I am not.
