Good choice, I have a suggestion to add. Buy the shower mount for it. Great device to use in the shower, but works on every smooth surface. Did the guy give you any tips about using it. Mainly, you can adjust the screw cap to change the amount of suction. I usually store mine with a little talc to help keep it dry and not tacky (sticky).

It takes quite the amount of lube because it has to be water based. But too little I don't think will damage the toy, make it uncomfortable yes, but not damage it

Use a water based lube. I'll keep a little cup of water that I use to help rewet the lube as it dries out. Better than using more and more of the lube itself which gets sticky as the water dries out.
