Agreed yahoo was great especially loved how u could put pics up in another window as both chat.

Plus people chat in much more detail then too. Dunno why but now its often frantic and a few word replies just wanting to look at pic after pic. All well and good but thats not chatting is it?

Part of it comes down to tech. Most apps were designed for small screens which make it harder for split screen. Though now new mobile are much bigger so could handle it now. So much better to be able to keep a pic in view when you are chatting. Also the quick chats can be down to the location as they are trying to fill in between stations or similar. I'm still lucky to have some I still chat with even after many years and even if it is a slow paced chat at times it is a pleasure to go into a little more detail.
