Just so you are aware the ip address range that was banned was a specific range to be for just one connection. It was banned because of posting and bragging about child porn in #pornjackin. If this ip range is brought up again, it will last a lot longer most likely for several months.

I removed the wide spread ban that was on your ip range. I will narrow it down. You also use several other names which showed up when I used your ip address so in the future listing all the names that you use would be helpful.

When I click on the #pornjackin link it just says I am banned from this channel with a +b next to it and says I am banned from that channel.

What other info might you require?

Just to update you, I went onto #operhelp and tried to follow along (not great with technology) I got this as one response -

Another user with the same IP kept requesting private chat in pornjackin. You should be able to get back in.

Am I not allowed to enjoy the pictures like so many others? Again if there is a problem then tell me otherwise I don't understand what validity your statement has other than to pick on one person in a large chatroom of posters and chatters.

You were persistent to get the ban lifted, posting everyday (sometimes twice in the same day) cause you can't get in. Yes, you can enjoy the links like all the other non-contributors, but 2 mods went out their way to help you back in just to leech off others.

It was a second ban in under a month, I was quite worried incase I had done something against the rules on here more so than anything. It was a matter of concern and a situation I am very happy was cleared up. I was also apologetic and thankfull to all who helped the situation come to a satisfactory end.

I'm not actually sure why you are now picking on me about sitting in a room quietly enjoying myself and sometimes conversing with others for short/long periods of time in PM while enjoying what others post.

I will thank again those mods/operators who gave up their time to help me out, I don't know how many times one person can say thank you to them all.

I find this whole conversation rather unfair considering I am doing literally nothing wrong other than what seems to be hurting your view/sensibilities in regards to the chat room.

It is okay if you don't post in the room many people don't. There is no rule that states that you have to post links to be in the room.

We were working on removing the ban so the pushing to get it done wasn't needed. The asking operhelp for help was a good idea, I couldn't find the ban so I thank you for that.

You keep enjoying the channel and the links, when you feel like you need to contribute then you can do so until then feel free to enjoy the links that people post.

He posted that he couldn't get into the room daily (sometimes twice in the same day). After I said that the mods have other obligations, he again posted as he did before. It was annoying.

Once the ban was lifted and he was back in the room, he didn't contribute, which annoyed me further.

True he's under no obligation to do so, but after all his persistence just to come back and sit there like so many do seemed unnecessary.

We spoke in private and it's been settled.
