I come to this site pretty often. I don't see many taboo topics but maybe I am missing something by only clicking on the thread topics that interest me.
I have gotten interesting PMs from some and PMs that don't interest me so I respond politely declining further involvement.
I have been lucky enough to actually hook up with a bud that contacted me through JIC. Great experience and it would not have happened without this site.
I think the mods do a pretty good job. Period.
I do think it would be nice if members had more about themselves, including pics, in their bio but understand people put what they are comfortable with and no more.
I find it odd that someone tries to get to meet someone else revealing almost nothing about themselves to spark an interest.
But for the most part I enjoy this site and am a frequent visitor. It introduced me to icanhazchat.com/jobuds and rabb.it and quickvisio.com/jackinchat where I have enjoyed camming with others.
So as mentioned above, if you don't like the threads and comments on this site you can be productive and participate to make the site more interesting or you can whine about what others are doing and be counter productive.
In the mean time thanks to those who make the site better and my mailbox a source of excitement from time to time.

I think my posts show what I'm into

It is not possible to post without logging in. Any posts attributed to "Unregistered" were made by those who, since posting, have elected to delete their account. When they do so, their account information is deleted from the database, but their posts remain. With no account present any longer to refer back to, the system lists the poster as "Unregistered."

As always, my advice if someone sees content in violation of the TOS is to report it. We don't want that kind of content around any more than anyone else does.

When reporting, I suggest to include as much detail as possible and/or include your information...the more information we have, the better a conclusion we can reach on how to address the report, and being able to contact you for more information can help clarify the report.

If you still feel it best to report anonymously, it's even more important to include as much detail as possible. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen an anonymous report on someone for "inappropriate content" with absolutely no detail. I go to check the reported profile, and fine someone with hundreds (or thousands) of posts, and nothing in the couple dozen most recent posts appears to be out of bounds.

So, please...help us to keep on top of such things. Since the staff is all volunteer, we've got "day jobs" and life that can sometimes take precedence over checking reports to the site.

The mods do a very good job of keeping people off that are flirting with legal issues. That's my main fear, stupid people getting the board shut down, especially people with interests well away from my "adult" desires.


Some of us have careers here in the US that are all about our real names ... names that would be ruined if they knew about our private desires, which are none of their business.

I'm not talking about hypocritical politicans and other two-faced people. I'm glad when people call out those people for their private lives that are at odds with their public ones.

I, for one, am not looking for anyone in real life. In fact, I'm fairly certain only a small minority of people appreciate my desires, while most people roll their eyes. It's really just a select subset of chatting buddies I'm looking for, just to chat with, nothing more. So I'm probably the atypical member, one who isn't even curious.


I'm usually not on-line enough, as my clients and travel keeps me busy. But I do try to find regular IM and e-mail chat buddies, to carry out drawn out fantasies, and not just a few times.

More on my wife and I ...

My wife and I are very classic American libertarian, not liberal (which is very political as of late), but the classic ... let people live and don't judge them. We are very open about this in our real lives too. But just because we're open and transparent doesn't mean we hang from the ceilings and fuck in public (although we have in our past).

Every day walk a fine line between both the judgement right and judgemental left. My wife would be called out by DC-empowered feminist in her field, because she's totally into all kinds of sex they would feel is politically incorrect, and nuke her career.

Likewise, I work in a lot of industries that are conservative, and my name is my life as well. All it takes is one powerful, judgemental person to ruin it, and I have enough trouble with powerful people pissed off because I;ve bot save companies and the taxpayer lots of money as it is in the past. I've been setup before, sexually, in political games too, and what keeps me clean is the fact that I'm seen as very monogamous and honest.

I very much am monogamous and honest. But that doesn't mean I go around and scream how much I love huge titted hourglass women and notice the body on a woman first. Likewise, my wife doesn't scream how much she thinks everyone should have sex and STFU with the puritan US bullshit, especially since she does have to deal with educators from time-to-time (people turn off their brains when it comes to kids).

So we do our best to keep our identities semi-anonymous. I know resourceful people can find out who we are in real life, and I've already had one problem in the past because of this. But being that we both travel a lot for our careers, and cannot be together, enjoying porn together on-line, and sharing our fantasies with others, is how we fill in the time apart.

Kicking from chats for dual post is quite silly they should moderate all the bad stuff that shouldnt be aloud instead of kicking some one who post hi twice in 5 min

An "upgrade" is the understatement of the year. Agreed on everything else tho.

Adding a block button would be a start. You can't stop arseholes from sending you messages or stinking up your threads.

The OP wasn't knocking the design of the site but the users who come here only to post illegal topics or act negative.

The 'ignore command is great for this ... wish I didn't have to use it so much though, and it stops the offender from offending you, but they can still hassle everyone else.

But, as a quick reply--

JackinChat is 100% custom code, written by the site's owner. While suggestions have been forwarded to him, whether or not they can/will be implemented and when is entirely up to him.

User posted galleries - The owner decided long ago that JackinChat will not directly host user-generated images or videos as liability protection for users posting illegal material.

Friends list - This suggestion has come up many a time, and has been forwarded to the owner.

Members-only chat - Implementing this would require JC host its own integrated chat. While there are commercial chat suites that allow for such integration, they are designed with commercially-available content management systems in mind. Getting them customized to fit with the site's code would likely be pretty pricey.

Webcam support - See above, re: chat. For a personal project, I've looked into chat clients with integrated webcam support. Not only are they pricey, but they require additional behind-the-scenes support that is not currently in place for JC. Adding webcam chat would jeopardize JC's current standing as a free site. It's my understanding that current ad revenue covers current site expenses with very little buffer. Currently, the owner is determined to keep the site free.

Automated chat moderation - All of the site's staff are volunteers, including chat moderators. As such, there will be times that a live mod isn't available in the room. For those times, Adiemus has been kind enough to set up JackinBOT to automate as much of the moderation as possible. It's far easier to automate moderation of repeats/spamming the room than it is to automate catching violations of the terms of service in specific content. This is why Adiemus tries to stay logged in even if AFK; to allow for violations to be reported if there's not an active mod in the chat, review the reports when at the computer, and take action as appropriate.

Providing some details in your thread on the subject (such as what chat option you're using...saying you're on an iPhone doesn't answer that question), what - if any - message you get when trying to connect, etc. will go a long way towards being able to help you.
