While I agree that you do a good job of removing reported posts, the weakness of the reporting system is that it is hard to report multiple posts by multiple users all in the same topic.

For example, this almost 50 page topic is full of under 18 year old girls. I'm not sure how users could go about reporting it other than reporting every user who posted questionable pictures in it.

That's not my bag, so I haven't looked at it until now. But a cursory glance shows the girls are clothed. That's not illegal. You can see worse than that on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Reporting the specific individuals who are violating the Terms of Service or being otherwise disruptive is exactly the concept behind the current reporting system. (I agree that it would be nice to be able to report a specific post, too. A peek behind the proverbial curtain: the reporting window that we see does have a "posts" tab, so the infrastructure is there, but it doesn't appear that the owner has the public-facing portion of it in place at this time.)



It may not be illegal, per se, but posting pictures of anyone under 18, regardless of their state of dress, is a violation of our Terms of Service. Where the difficulty comes in is determining which images do in fact feature minors and which are adults with a young "look."

I recall spot-checking that particular thread shortly after it started and finding what appeared to be the latter (there are a few criteria that we can sometimes see and apply when trying to make that determination), and letting it stand, counting on the community to report any violations. Looks like I may have a project ahead of me tonight when I can log in from a computer in a comfortable seat rather than on my phone. (Of course, if violations are present and were reported before the post got to 48 pages.... )

Various US courts have also been unforgiving in this matter as well, depending on how far people take the 'fantasy.'

Although the US law on nude child pornography is based on a minor being taken advantage of and, therefore, anyone viewing such is contributing to that crime, there are laws in various US locales that also make 'lewd use' of pictures of clothed children also a crime.

I understand that some people are 'programmed differently' than others (personally, I don't like young ladies who look under 25 because they usually lack womanly features), and there is the argument that an 'outlet' helps them 'cope' with that 'programming,' but please don't let others drag down the rest of us because they want to make JIC that outlet.
