How to piss off and lose your customers! How is banning an IP range for a few weeks going to solve the problem? The problem user will just wait and start again when back on line?

In the meantime people will find alternative sites and may not come back

This is ridiculous how can you just blanket ban BT users? Are you a moderator or a chat room dictator?

It isn't a blanket ban. I banned a specific up range. Others are still able to use the chat room who are on the provider. As I have said before it wasn't done without serious thought.

I banned his exact up address three times and he just reset his modem to get around the ban. The only part he can not get around is the range assigned to his small area that BT has assigned to him.

The ban will be removed within the week that is all that will be said in this matter.
