huh. These instructions mention an "export" button at the bottom of one's Settings screen, but there isn't one on mine.

Make sure you are using the web version and not the app. No where to be found on the app, but if you log in on the web it will work.

I will likely eventually move to the Fediverse (which includes, but is not limited to, Mastodon) or a similar network like Diaspora. These are non-profit, non-corporate, decentralized networks composed of many servers run by volunteers, making a wholesale purge of adult content impossible.
For those interested in Mastodon / the Fediverse, I already use it for non-porn needs. There haven't been a lot of NSFW places in the fediverse until now, though you could try humblr.com and/or sinblr.com, both of which run Mastodon. A good Android app for these sites is Mastalab, and there are ways to change the user interface if you don't like the multi column setup.

bdsmlr.com looks great and it's almost identical to tumblr.
While it's aimed at the fetish/kink community, I've found plenty of 'normal' adult content on there to keep me happy and I'm sure this will increase as people move over from tumblr.
They're having a few issues right now in coping with the increase in traffic (lots of missing images etc), but things will hopefully get back to normal soon.

This past week, I discovered that a bunch of the Tumblr blogs have migrated to newtumbl.com. I'm not sure if it's as easy yet to search for a topic on there; but not bad so far.
Also, one of my favorite former tumblrs moved to blogspot.com under the same blog name.

tumblr is still a good place for porn. They delete posts and accounts but they can't keep up, the j/o material just keeps coming. I wouldn't be surprised if they just give up after a while.
