I've been using lube since I was 12yo. Started with soap, then lotion, then stole a container of Vaseline from my mom's bathroom. UK guys don't use it as much as guys in the US because most of us are uncut and the foreskin keeps a lot of moisture around the head while you're jacking off.
It took me a while to start using lube too, but when you find the right one (I prefer Stroke 29) it can really take your edging to the next level.
