tbh I've kinda steered clear of Wickr/MyCircle threads up until now but just wanted to know two things (feel free to post publically or message me personally):

1. What is the reason that Wickr seems to be so popular with the Jackinchat community, rather than other chat apps?

2. How do I keep myself updated as to when I can join a room? Do members here simply make a post saying that they've started one? If so, which forum is the best place to be checking?

Any other MyCircle related info would be useful and much appreciated. You can assume I know absolutely NOTHING!

Best thing about Wickr is that unlike Kik, it works on a computer. It's much easier to type and view on a big computer monitor. I can also use my computer for "work" and not have my wife as "who are you texting?".

Is there a way for wickr to show who is online. I think that is the biggest flaw unless I've done something wrong. I miss yahoo messenger days. That was perfect.

I only ever used that on dialup. It would have been so great on a broadband connection.
