I can't get it to work. Was fine until a few days ago...and yes, I have the latestest version of IE, have tried it with Firefox, have the latest version of java, made sure that java is working, and rebooted the computer. Chat starts to load, then doesn't completely. Damn

It loads the status page as far as the line "have fun or you are nothing but a pink" and then just stops. Tried firefox, rebooting, updating java, virus scan, etc. NONE of the suggestions in other threads work. Have tried other jave-based chat sites and they DO work. Obviously the problem is here, with this site. I hope you address it.

I'm really not sure what to tell you guys. Its 10am Friday here an there are 75 people logged into the chat, so there's definitely nothing wrong with the server.

It almost seems like some of you guys have the perfect combination of things on your computer that is preventing it from working.

The guy that owns our chat server has a site up that also would allow you to join the chat. if you go to http://www.xxxchatters.com you might be able to get in that way.

Nope, doesnt work. Other java chat sites do....guess I will see you there, guys.

I have tried accessing the chat room from 2 other computers at friends homes, still not working...can't be all these computers.

I have not seen any connections at all from you, at least not using the name "wiseirishguy". Have you used a different name when you tried entering the chat?

Also, have you tried the troubleshooting methods in other threads on here:

Try clearing you web broswer's cache and restart your computer. Then go to www.java.com and install the latest version of java.

If that doesn't work, maybe try a different web browser like Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari. If that still doesn't work, there is likely some issue with your computer that is beyond our ability to help you with.

have tried a number of times in recent days. using two pcs with different versions of Jave (newest and previous) Both pcs were accessing the site up to about 6 days ago so it makes no sense to attribute the problem to the accessing pcs.
