We have a corded hitachi and she loves it. In fact she wore the first one out. Look for attachments that enhance the pleasure. She uses a tongue attachment cause it concentrates the vibrations on her clit.
The Hitachi Magic Wand -- the original, not a knockoff -- is a fabulous gift for anyone, man or woman. I got my wife one a few years ago and have used it myself, and it's a sure thing to get us off. My wife and I usually do a naughty gift exchange. This gift will blow her mind...and several loads from me as well.
