Ok, I guess I'll state my question first for those of you who don't feel like reading the whole posting. How often do you have wet dreams and how are they related to your frequency of masturbation/sexual release? So here's the deal. I started masturbating before I could ejaculate, so by the time i did start to be able to produce semen I was masturbating daily or better. I didn't have a lot of wet dreams and I thought it was because I j/o so much. Then as I got older I developed the discipline to be able to take some time off. I found that sometimes even after a month of now j/o (as painful as it was) I wouldn't wet dream. I have had probably a dozen wet dreams in my life, I enjoy them but they're just not that frequent. I just wondered what its like for other guys. Do you have lots of wet dreams all the time? Does masturbating decrease your number of wet dreams? How often do you get them? Thanks.

Some guys just dont experience wet dreams. There are 2 factors that influence wet dreams.... "nocturnal emission" (or the sexual part) and REM sleep. I personally have never in my life had a wet dream, even after having gone 8 weeks without jacking off. The reason why I never really experience one is because of the Sleep pattern. I am such a light sleeper (and partially insomniac) and have so few dreams at all that I have never had a true wet dream. So if you arent having them often, your sleep pattern could be to blame for that.

I didn't have wet dreams until I started masturbating. Then I had them maybe every month or two for quite a while. In my dreams, I'd be with a girl and just be putting it in her....then I'd wake up shooting cum.

After I started having sex, I had very few wet dreams. I've continued to masturbate at least daily, but haven't had a wet dream in a couple of years. I really never go a day without masturbating, so I don't know how a period of abstinance would effect wet dreaming.

Well based on what I have learned in sex ed... You get wet dreams when you go through puberty. Well tahts when they happen the most. It is not suppposed to happen much at all as an adult because you are not as horned up all the time so you're not having as many sex dreams. Though I have had wet dreams and not even remember the dream so... ya.

Never had a wet dream, though I do experience REM almost every night. I probably don't go long enough without masturbating to have one.

i guess it varies from person to person....I'm 'quite' a few years passed puberty now ( ), and will still have the occasional wet-dream, or at least, a sexual dream; I may have them often - I just don't know....Like with most dreams, they're completely forgotten upon waking!
Apart from those wierd, and thankfully VERY infrequent, deja-vu type dreams/experiences, I think it's just your subconsious doing a bit of filing while you sleep, and as it rummages around your thoughts, and experiences, parts flash around and you become sort of 'aware' of them again, forming the dream! Well, that's putting into a simplistic kind of way so that I can explain what I'm trying to say....

I just wish that I could remember more of those sexual/wet-dreams when I wake up...

my wet dreams are very infrequent. i had one that was so intense it woke me up, i actually heard the spurt hit the sheets. it was incredible

I have never had a wet dream in my life. I have always wanted to like see a doctor about it, because all my friends say they have had them or still have them. I guess I just jerk off too much. LOL

Same here, Rob37. I'm pretty sure since puberty I've jerked off way too often to have them.

But then again, I got to jerk off a lot. This is plenty of compensation, I think. LOL

I only had wet dreams when I didn't jerk off for like 2 weeks when I was younger. Then when I did have one, I came all over the place. It sure was good.

I don't think I've ever had one probably because ever since I was 12 I've never gone more then 4 days without cumming from either jacking or having sex and from what I understand you need to have your epididymis completely full of sperm for your body to have the need to have a nocturnal emmission.

As far as I know I have never had a wet dream in my life and I am 32 years old. I've gone a while without ejaculating too but still did not have a wet dream. I think some men just are less likely to have them.

I've had them all through my life, but not too often because I masturbate so much. When I was fucking my wife and masturbating I never had them. they are kind of fun to have.
