We are primarily in a holding pattern on two things:
- Upgrade of a moderation bot tool to its premium version, to access some of the features to be put in place for smooth operation
- Review and thumbs-up from the JC site owner, so he can modify the chat page here on the site to direct to the Discord.

I am sure what will end up happening is a transition over to discord from the IRC chat slowly.
After a time we will just make it so you can't chat in the rooms and will have to join the discord, give people time to get used to it.

I know nothing about Discord, but the possibilities sound good and far better than the current chat capabilities. I would love direct cam and mic use in the chat.
Oh this sounds like a great move. Discord is a really good platform for communities and I think it'll be such an improved experience.

Into all these ideas. One of the things that has turned me off to JC lately is how it wasnt updated tech wise and all the spammers. This sounds like a good step forward. Keep us posted.

On a few discord celeb groups and the interface is really easy to navigate. Also great for private messaging and mic and cam. Looking forward to JC getting on there.

It would be good to have a discord server for jackinchat. If we use this as a good tool, we can create a better way of communication for all of us and we can use jackinchat at it's full capabilities. Personally, i'd like to keep in touch with my buds, sharing daily pics to gets us goon and also daily habits and struggles.

Not sure what a users guide would look like. Make a discord account, add the server, viola.
Also dont make it take forever to get into mic/cam/chat
