i just got another 1 of those messages, this either stops by 2021-15-09, cuz if not, i will absolutely terrorize the streets of where i live, especially cuz my car has no kinds of trouble reaching 200 kph!

jimmykaulowsfan just sent me a "hello" message, the 3rd 1 in just 5 minutes, now i take names! this must stop! especially cuz i'm not playing about going psycho at the wheel at all!

amandatutfani just sent a "hello" message, as i guarantee, if these "hello" messages are not stopped, i will make absolute certain traffic police will have their work cut out for them, especially when i do go psycho on the streets of where i live!

teresanodepa is the 5th "hello" message, take me serious about psycho at the wheel of my car!

derrickbubbmingnu is the 6th "hello" message! never think i'm lying about going psycho at the wheel of my car!

monicaranordi is hello message number 7, these "hello" just better lay off of all of us now, or we will all do road rage, especially since all those "hello" messages have already proved way too much any of us to want to even handle at all, and we're not lying, we are not kidding, we will all go psycho on the roads!

Not worth reporting them as the moderators don't care. Too busy kicking members off for inappropriate content. If they cared they could stop it.

No they cant do anything apparently! They used to ban people from the chat room for the slightest thing but eradicate spammers... oh no!

Maybe they need a newer or secure way of joining this site!

Can Moderators do anything about it?

Only what we've been doing: ban them after the fact, and send a list of the offending accounts to the site owner to look for commonalities behind the proverbial curtain that might help him block them. (Mods don't have that access.) He's put some blocks in place, that they quickly find their way around. One of the drawbacks of the site being 100% custom code that he's written is that the tools to prevent them are limited without extensive rewrites to that code, which can have a domino effect.

I know from speaking to him about it that he's looked into third-party security options, but the ones most applicable to the situation/compatible with the site won't accept usage on adult sites such as this one.

But, if you think we don't care about it, you're mistaken. We receive them, too. And if you think I actually enjoy surrendering a few hours of my weekend to go through literally hundreds to thousands of spam reports, ban the accounts, and compile that list to send to the owner, you have a very skewed idea of what I consider to be a fun way to spend time.

Almost as annoying, though, is threads to "inform" us of a problem we're all too aware of, and receive answers that have been provided so many times that I'm considering saving a template to just copy/paste.
