I've been shaving with a regular razor for literally 20 years and have never cut my balls. On rare occasions, I have nicked the base of my shaft but that has only happened when I shave too frequently. I always wonder about this when see the "manscaping" commercials because its so rare I cut myself.

shave in the shower and use shaving cream or conditioner and you'll be fine

My safest way is using a beard cutter with a guard until it's short and then I used an electric razor and it got my cock and balls perfectly smooth!
