There is something key in what you shared that I forget to mention: One joke, or one standing offer, no biggie at all; but it's when someone repeats and repeats and tries and tries again that it falls apart. In your case you offered once left a standing offer, I think that is fine.

I have tried to become friends with a few really neat gay guys that I would like to be buddies with, but inevitably eventually they make a pass, or a blatant joke ("blah blah blah I'd like to suck your cock blah blah ') and I've just been disheartened by that. I play off the 'no' as lightly and cool as I can, still the vibe shifts to what I think is they feel rejected, lose interest in the friendship, and it's just a shame. That said, I really believe (hopeless optimist?) that its just been my luck, and that is not the norm and that str8 guys can be friend with gay guys...

Anyone know if there is such a thing? I have tried to use Grindr to find JO buddies but the great majority of folks there want more than a JO buddy; I then found jackandjerk.com that seems along that line but it is clear it is a hook-up site rebranded for JO, but with all the old features of a hook-up site so a ton of people wanting more than JO have jumped on and now it's diluted the purpose (not to mention, you sneeze and they want a membership fee...). A JO-only buddy finder app would be soooo cool... any ideas?

Last time I went was about 1.5 years ago, I used to go frequently. It was my first bath house visited and it was awesome. Geat gym equipment, clean, good customer service (good clean up, constantly see their crew cleaning up). The crowd is mixed (every age and body type), generally hot crod, and generally a lot of guys (may make other clubs look deserted in contrast).

By the way, I've dropped them a note suggesting they host JO parties one of their nights...

I have gone ~4 times in the last year and I think it's worth checking out: you see all sorts of body types and ages, but I think on average folks were hot and fairly young (late 20's to early 30s). Again all ages and types, but the majority were as describe. The place was always very clean, the attendants were friendly. I have gone when it is empty (bad luck, early in the morning) but that was fun too, having reign to the place to myself, playing with the toys all to myself, etc. I have also gone when it was moderately full. Their gym equipment is decent for an OK workout (except in summer, the gym area is too hot!), new and clean.

IMHO I think it is worth checking it out...

Anyone who is without question jjerking off in a situation where someone else can hear (like it sounds your roomie is) either (a) wants to get caught or (2) doesn't care if they get caught, both of which are good news. I.e., just want in and join, he either wants it or doesn't care if you do. Add some humor / lightheartedness to it when you do and you should be good to go.
